Epic Kindle Giveaway winners announced Tuesday! Thanks!

A big THANK YOU from Scott Nicholson, Aiden James, H.T. Night, and J.R. Rain.for making the Epic Kindle Giveaway such a huge success! We are still tallying downloads and book blogger contest entries, but because you guys blew the Epic Kindle Giveaway out of the sky when we expected it to be a small event, we went Mega-Epic on our budget as well, doubling it to give out $400 as well as the EIGHT FREE KINDLE FIRES. As you guys grew and showed your support, we dug deeper to match your awesomeness, and we are truly humbled and grateful.

Eight Kindle Fire winners will be announced here Tuesday after selection using random.org by the Watauga County (NC) Public Library staff. We will make every reasonable effort to contact the winners, but it is your responsibility to claim your prize within three days or it will be awarded to runner-ups.

  • Three Kindle Fire winners from names collected in the Magic Hat by the Kindle Fairy
  • One Kindle Fire winner drawn from our Ereader News Today rafflecopter
  • One Kindle Fire winner drawn from entries received through our book blogger friends listed to the right
  • One Kindle Fire winner drawn from Punch Tab and Rafflecopter entries made from this site
  • One Kindle Fire winner drawn from the EPICBONUSKINDLE Twitter hashtag #epickindlegiveaway
  • One Kindle Fire winner drawn from names collected by the Kindle Fairy for spreading the MEGAEPICBONUSKINDLE Sheen meme

Anyone who was tagged on Facebook or Twitter for gift cards during the contest, please email epickindlegiveaway at Yahoo. Winners have three days to collect prizes. No prizes will be awarded after Fri., Jan. 27, 2012.

We had great fun and we appreciate your help in making the Epic Kindle Giveaway Mega Epic. Something like this can never be done again in the same way, but we are already cooking up ideas for some crazy event in the future, so why not follow and also plug your email address in over there in the upper right so you can be the first to learn about future events?
